Yesterday I got to thinking about the two sweaters I have in progress - Mariah and Trellis, both from
Knitty. I haven't touched either one of them in over two months, and they're just taking up valuable space. I decided that Trellis is going to the frog pond. By the time I got it finished - if I ever did - Beth would've outgrown it anyway.
I'm not ready to let go of Mariah just yet. What in the world would I do with 5 lbs of Lamb's Pride? I'm sure I could find something, but I loved that design for so long that I spent $90 to buy yarn for her, so I guess I'll have to finish. I picked her back up last night, and I'm 10 rows in on the back. After that I'll just have the right front and one more sleeve before I start yoking along. I figure that if I work on her a little each day, along with my 9000 other projects, I should be done by some time in October. That seems like a long time, but it'll just be getting cold enough to wear her by then.
